Suhyun is a designer at PORT who contributes to public realmprojects through digital modeling, rendering, and illustration. His workfocuses on developing expressive forms of representation and communicatingdesign ideas in compelling and accessible ways.

Prior to joining PORT, Suhyun gained experience in both landscape design andconstruction in South Korea. Working across these areas gave him a practicalunderstanding of how design decisions, technical drawings, material choices,and site conditions come together in built projects.

Suhyun holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University ofPennsylvania, where he was awarded the J. Roland Lieber Fellowship, and aBachelor of Landscape Architecture from Kyung Hee University in South Korea,where he graduated at the top of his class. During his undergraduate studies,he received the Grand Prize at the Gyeonggi Garden Show and was recognized atthe National Exhibition of Korean Landscape Architecture. His experiencesdemonstrate a broad and holistic understanding of landscape architecture, asseen through his work spanning scales from intimate garden design to urbanplanning.
