Zuren Kikon

DESIGNER I

Zuren Kikon is a designer at PORT, where his work builds on an interdisciplinary interest in the relationships between human activity, ecological systems, and contemporary urbanism. Drawing from training in both architecture and landscape architecture, his current focus centers on landscape resilience, urban forests, and the ways designed environments can mediate between environmental systems and everyday life. His approach is grounded in sensitivity to place, informed by cultural context, ecological processes, and collective modes of living.

Zuren is a Master of Landscape Architecture candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Stuart Weitzman School of Design, where he has received the Faculty Acknowledgement Award for Experimentation and Innovation and the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from KR Mangalam University in Haryana, India, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Undergraduate Architectural Thesis.
